I’m not a nutritionist, life coach, bikini model or personal trainer. I don’t have a six-pack or a fridge neatly stacked with identical plastic lunchboxes filled with neatly chopped broccoli and tofu (I do have a freezer messily crammed full of plastic bags of roughly chopped veg that jump out at me whenever I open the door). My wellbeing regime involves daily medication, almost-daily meditation and lots of Britney Spears. In terms of inspirational mantras, I’m more likely to quote RuPaul than Eckhart Tolle.
I’m just an ordinary-ish woman – a 31 year old ginger vegetarian high-functioning perfectionist hypochondriac taking baby steps each day towards greater confidence and contentment.
